Anyone know good Audi shops (other than dealers) in San Francisco area? I am in East Coast but a friend of mine in San Francisco needs timing belt, water pump and couple minor issues done.

Can anyone let me know? Thanks.

A little bit closer is Kovac motors, in san rafeal (and sonoma) http://www.kovacsmotors.com/ this is where I bought my car, but have never had any work done there.

 

If anyone still reads this forum I heard of this guys through reviews on yahoo: http://www.europeanautoonline.com/ And Audi mechanics recommended this guy: http://www.autowerkstat.com/main/index.htm . The second one is a lot more expensive but also seems much wiser... I've met them both. If you can deal with the cussing and "hype" kind of attitude the first ones will be better for you...
