Default Is this a good deal??? - 2005 Audi A4 Cabriolet!!

Hello everyone!
I am a newbie in this forum and somewhat to the brand Audi.
I have seen and test driven a 2005 Audi A4 Cabrio yesterday and fell in love with it immediately. Coming from Germany and being familiar with the good old German engineering, it is no surprise that driving this car is a real pleasure on the road!!!

However, since I've moved to California, I have stuck to Honda in the past years, because their cars are reliable and good in maintenance. I've always avoided European cars simply because I am afraid of the high and expensive maintenance that is being said about them. Nevertheless, I am aware of the fact that this is a quality car, that can also last very long.

So, here's the link for more detail:

*Firstly, I wanted to know, if this car has a reasonable price tag?

*Secondly, I wanted to ask you guys, if there are any common/popular problems with this particular model, that I should be aware of?

I know that "expensive" is relative, but I'm thankful for any information (positive and/or negative) that I can get from people who are more familiar with driving a European car in the US.

Thanks soo much in advance!!! Any comments/suggestions appreciated!

I think it's probably a good deal. Since I wasn't looking for a cabriolet I don't know if a manual tranny or quattro was available but I'd try to find one with those options if possible.
Not too long after you get your car, you're going to want more power and the auto tranny's don't deal with it as well as the manuals.
How far are you willing to travel to get your car? You may want to come down closer to the LA area to get a bigger selection. When I was looking for mine a few months ago, I was going to head up to San Jose to pick up a killer deal on a white B7, I changed my mind, but it pays to be flexible cause I got my car for a very good deal.
Also I'm sure someone here can chime in about issues that are specific to the tops and such for the cabs.

Good luck in your search and let us know if we can be of further help.
