I'm looking to put GIAC performance software in my vehicle for HP upgrade and the other features GIAC provides with there performance software. I just wanted to know if anyone has put the chip inside there 3.0 and was it a good power increase.

 

I would be surprised if you get an answer. There is not much you can tweak via a chip to gain more power in a normally aspirated engine. Significant hp gains can be had from a turbo by increasing the boost -- my A6 increased from 250 to [supposedly] 318. You can increase power from a supercharger by changing pulleys and spinning it faster, which compresses more air/fuel. There is nothing on a n/a engine that has the same effect. Good luck, but suggest you save your money and enjoy your ride. PS - I also have a 2003 A4 3.0.
