Default HELP HELP Drive shaft issues due to clutch repair.

I was replacing the clutch on my 2003 A4. I had disconnected the drive shat (prop shaft) and some how during the process the 6 ***** fell out of the drive shaft cv joint. How do I reassemble it? Please help. This is the last thing I need to fix.
Thanks

Default drive shaft cv joint

I'm not sure you can repair that cv joint. I just installed a new drive shaft and the joints are pretty tight. If the ***** fell out, that's what transfers the motion, there must be someting else broken in there.

Was it making noise before the clutch work? Was that cv joint dry with no grease? It might be toast.

There are kits with new cv joints and you can get rebuilt shafts as well.
