Helping a friend return to OEM suspension
Hi guys,
I'm a newbie to the Audi community, and am posting here to help a friend. I'm an avid BMW enthusiast, but only been into cars for about a year (but am fast learning while rebuilding a '77 BMW).
That said, my buddy drives a 2004 A4 Quattro Avante 1.8L. He purchased it several years ago from a guy who had it lowered, and thus presumably put on lowering springs and possibly a coilover setup. My friend and his wife don't really like the bumpy ride, never track it, and want to be able to drive it around the pot-hole city (and to Tahoe) without feeling like they're on a roller coaster. Therefore, what we're trying to do is
(1) acquire used but in-shape OEM suspension equipment (including dampers, springs and related mounting equipment needed) from someone who is parting out or recently added a newer coilover setup;
(2) sell or trade the current setup on the car, which are Neuspeed springs and Monroe struts (and possibly coilovers, which is TBD tonight when I get over there to see it); and
(3) understand a simple "how-to" on how one would go about changing from OEM setup to a lowered suspension setup. For this one, any and all information would help us, as we're just trying to understand what it takes and all the parts necessary).
Thanks in advance guys. Please feel free to email me at evanlenoir AT gmail DOT com if you have any OEM parts you're willing to sell or trade. Otherwise, thanks for the posts here!

I have purchased many OEM Audi parts from this place. The prices are always below retail and from what I can tell it is shipped from franchised Audi dealer. Here is the info...
PartsVP - Search Results for "audi springs"
Hope that helps!
