helpp!!has anyone done timing belt,waterpump,thermostat??
Can someone help me with this one... i have a 2004 1.8t 6speed my car started overheating... with 56k on it.
so i decided to order the ultimate timing beltkit and thermostat from ecstuning.com. but i cant seem to find any DIY for b6..
want to know if anyone hastaken pic or have performed this on their own...ifyes please let me know my part should be coming in this thursday. Also let me know ifandy's originalTiming belt DIYwould be the same for b6..

there are several DIY guides on www.audizine.com and www.audiworld.com i used those to do mine, easy DIY. just be sure to mark both your crank and cam sprockets on the teeth and block with whiteout and make sure they are both at the same spot when u are done. i marked across the belt too and just matched it back up
thanks... lucky i have those printed out. Did you torque the bolts by the specs? if so.. can you please let me know the info on how much torque should be on each bolt?
