I recently had my headlight replaced by a mechanic, he informed me that I'd need to go to the stealership to get them to reset the onboard computer so it doesn't complain that the headlight is faulty. Aside from the complaining, headlights work as expected (mostly).

What I am concerned about is that after the replacement, my high-beams now only work when the lights are set to on, it no longer works in 'auto' mode at night, which is usually what I always leave them on. Is this something the reset will handle, or is this a problem with some wiring? I don't want to pay twice to get the reset done right.
