Default High mileage a4

Im looking into buying an a4, however ive never owned an audi before. This car has about 85,000 miles on it. How reliable are they when they start getting the higher mileage? Is there anything i should check for, or worry about?

I would ask for maintence records if there is any. Look at cv joints under the car. Timing belt replaced yet? Is it a 1.8T or 3.0?

They will be reliable if the previous oner was taking care of it. At this mileage, Timing Belt/Water Pump/Tensioner should be changed. And of course all the required maintance... If u got 1.8t, u better find out how often he/she was changing the oil. It should be a synthetic oil btw. Other than that, just look at the car, or even take to the mechanic. Like on any other car, the suspension might be going off at this mileage and other stuff.
