Default Hissing noise, loss of power

Hey guys, I have a 03 1.8T with APR stage one plus, last night i was driving from a stop sign and all I heard was a pop then I lost a lot of power. If I try to hit the gas pretty hard all I could hear was a very loud hissing noise coming from the back of the engine bay. So this morning I drove it and it was better but still had that noise, could it be a check valve? I looked at them and they seemed fine. What would cause a vacuum leak at the back of the engine? Thanks!

theres a pankcake valve back there that cracks and losses pressure. Should be almost right ontop of the temp sensor flat on top. Check around that for cracks.

Do a boost leak test to find where it is coming from if you can't find it.

found the problem guys, turns out that the shop who switched out my fuel injectors didnt bolt them down, so fuel was spraying everywhere, I am lukc my engine did not go up in flames, you think there should be any recusion to this as far as saying something to the shop that didnt do it?

I would go back to the shop and ask for AT LEAST a partial refund since that is a major safety hazard. If somthing had happened due to the fuel rails not being installed properly, it would have fallen entirely on the shop.
