I am going to be installing my ECS Boost gauge tonight and need to remove the headlight switch so that I can tap into the wires. Can someone tell me how to remove and pull out the switch so I can get to the wiring?

You're supposedly able to just yank on it. I didn't want to do it, because I thought I was going to break it, so I actually removed the bolts holding the knee plate on and just removed it from the other side.

jdahlen24's link has it, but if that's too much reading for you to find the one piece of info, here's what you need:

"Yank" isn't quite the right word. What you do is push in on it (about 1/2 inch in), then turn it clockwise slightly (same as you would to turn on the lights, but it'll only turn about halfway to the first setting), then pull out. It should come out quite easily.
