Hi:

I am pulling the engine and need to undo the connectors behind the ecu that go to the engine harness. These are not the standard audi connectors but something that look like they have clips on two sides of the connectors. I assume that there is a trick to unclip the connector and then slip them apart. If someone out there could tell me the trick, that would be great.

Figured it out for those that care. I used a long shaft, thin blade screwdriver and gently lifted the plastic tang on each side while pulling the connector upward. It helped to hve the hood off to do this.

 

Thanks. That is exactly what I was searching the net to find. If anyone has a picture of the disconnected connector, that would be very helpful.
