Default I have some questions regarding clutch and transmission

Hi, I own a 2005 B6 a4 Quattro 6mt. My question is regarding the flywheel and clutch from the 2.0t b7 will it work for my car? The reason I ask is because it's a 240mm disc versus the 228mm that the b6 1.8t comes with.

My second question is how do I find out what my transmission code is or part number? I am looking for a rebuild kit because my synchros are starting to show signs of wear during shifts.

Thanks

if you want a 240 mm clutch pick up the ra4 conversion. I'd guess a 2.0 clutch and flywheel would work but I'm not positive. As for the synchros google advanced automotion and talk to Scott.

ok thank you.

also Ive been reading up on lightweight flywheels and some people say there is a noise that comes about after install... what kind of noise is it? I am going LWFW because i cannot drive with the DMFW, its too hard for me to rev match and keep gears shifts smooth. ive owned 2 civics before this and I had 9lb flywheel on that and i could drive better than with the oem flywheel. granted i will not go that low on this car, maybe ~14-17lb.

I forgot his user name but there's a member in this forum, Mike from Ringer racer, I think it's Mike2pt0 or something like that, he can answer any and every question you have about clutches and combinations.
