I need someone to explain these fault codes!!!!
Hello lads and just to say i am delighted to be part of the forum. This is my first post so here goes. My car was losing power before it hit 2500-3000rpm and then the turbo kicked it. This spurned me to get a diagnostics read from my local garage. I dont even think he was sure what it all meant. So i am posting them here as you lads seem very knowledgeable. I would greatly appreciate any input and what you think i need to replace...thanks again from an Irish lad in London.
CODE 001= 17664
P1256 Engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor-G62: open/short to B+
CODE 002= 17994
P1586 Left right Electro-Hyraulic engine mount solenoid valve-N144/-N145: short to B+
CODE 003=17552
P1144 Mass air flow (MAF) sensor-G70: open short to ground
CODE 004= 17964
P1556 Turbo super charger boost sensor (A) circuit: control limit not reached
The last one i am worried about as it mentions turbo in the diagnosis. But i dont know much about the faults, hence why i am asking. The garage lad said the coolant sensor code fault could be effecting the turbo fault. I cant seem to think why, but i dont know.
Any suggestions would be great. It is a 1.9tdi a4 130bhp.[/align]
