Got my codes read, can someone explain?
I went to Advanced and got my codes read. It was only one code which made me a little more relaxed. The code is P0441. They guy told me that it could be from not tightening the gas cap tight enough or from some bad fuel? I told him that the light has been on for a while and that I disconnected the battery but the light came back on. He told me that disconnecting the battery doesn't completely clear the code. He cleared it for me and said it shouldn't come back on.
Is what he said true? Are there any other factors that could have made the light come on? It didn't come on while I was driving home which is good. When I disconnected the battery, it came on the minute I pulled out of the drive way.
Any help would be great. I was going to take it to get the scheduled maintenance done and I didn't want them to give me some BS. I feel much better than I did. The car is running great.

I think the problem might be a bad seal on the gas cap. I just picked up a new gas cap and will replace it when I fill up again.
Am I talking to myself?

I'm going to start using QT for good. I have been filling up at different stations for a while now with no luck. I drove all day without the light coming back on which is a good sign. If it comes on again, I guess I'll have to bend over and lube up for the mechanic... I'm praying it doesn't come back!

Is bad gas the only thing that could cause the CEL for this code to come on? I'm just hoping it's nothing serious. The light hasn't come back on.
