Default Instrument Cluster Display

Ok guys, Just bought an 02 A4 quattro yesterday with NO user manual. The lcd display between the speedo and tach is not reading anything. Is there some way to turn this on or off or is it just broken. I have searched around on this forum and found that sometimes these displays just go out. I also looked at buying a whole used instrument cluster on ebay for like 150 bucks. Will a cluster from a different vehicle need to be programmed for my car? is there any way to reset my display? I'm new to audi so any help is greatly appreciated =) Thanks

Yepp i found that... Didn't work =/

AGH i took out the cluster to see if i could unplug it and plug back in for reset and half my pixels on the right side (where the odometer reading is) went out! SO frustrating

Has anybody tried modulemasters.com with good results?
