It's not a hp gainer, its a hp recoverer, it keeps your IAT's down. So the real question is, how much hp do you want to make?

Depends on how much NAWZ you spray in after it, yo.

With a stock turbo, you may LOSE HP because that little hairdryer has a hard time filling up the volume needed with the bigger core.

really depends on the size of the fmic being used. A correct size core used for a K03 will show some gains becaues the SMIC does not bring down the IAT's all that well. So with lower IAT's the ECU can run more adv timing and this will increase tq/hp. As Euro said, you will also be able to keep that power the same time after time when the stock SMIC would heat soak causing the IAT's to climb much higher.

If you do have a K03, just make sure you dont go with a fmic that is way too big. That will cause more lag and cause the turbo to work harder just to force the air thru the FMIC. FMIC setups sold by Racetec, ER Sport and EVOms all use a core that is the correct size for a K03/K04.
