Default Interior paint??

Hey everyone,

The paint on my window switches are peeling off. I have seen a DIY on a4mods about replacing the switches, I'd rather just paint them since I'm sure new ones would start peeling again.

The trouble is I can't find touch up paint for it.
I went my local Audi dealer, they and suggested I go to a custom paint place in my city. I went there and they don't have an exact match, but could make one if I had a sample ...

Has anyone here had success painting the switches? Or know where I could get paint that matches? There must be OEM paint somewhere.

Thanks

correct me if im wrong, but i dont think that is true paint on the window switches. Its some kind of rubberized material so that it would provide a better touch to the finger. Same stuff that is coated on the climate control too

Yes its not paint, its some rubber material like timmay said

when i bought my audi the car dealer had tried to solve it or make it look a little eye pleasing by painting it black see the image below.

The scratches were near the wing mirror ****. The bottle is the paint by Saab, it comes with a tiny brush.

It does not look perfect but i think it looks better then white

hmm ok. There must be a real solution to this. Anyone know what the rubber material actually is?

That's cool, thanks. I may just break down and repaint the door handles and other chipped and worn pieces too, since I have to take the whole door apart to get at the buttons anyways
