Default Rubberized Interior Paint

Does anyone know of a source or supplier for the rubberized paint that coats everything on our interiors? The buttons on my climate controls (- and +) and part of the stock Bose Symphony Headunit are scratched off and I'd like to retouch them, but anything other than the stock rubberized paint is going to look horrid.

On the door panels I actually took them apart and used a scotchbrite pad to just remove the coating and that looks good - but on the headunit and climate controls that wouldn't work as the buttons would be all white and the black appears to be more glossy underneath.

My local autobody shop had no clue so I'm hoping somebody has some more info.

its a clear coating used as a primer on plastic parts that's the problem, when its cleaned off and and primed with the proper stuff which is flexible then you can paint it ( most people just paint the plastic with interior paint for plastic and don't use the clear coat primer ) and thats when it goes bad

I know many, including me with same issue, particularly on light switch. Keep us informed on what you find out.

Yea I haven't found anything with the same smooth feel as the stock paint. There are good plastic paints out now that will stick just fine and won't just peel off right away, but the texture and look is different, so it would be impossible to blend.

If I find anything I'll let you know, but so far no such luck. I can't beleive Audi or VW doesn't stock this stuff in a rattle can!
