I was looking at getting a set of Denso IR plugs for my 05 1.8t. I heard they may not be good for the motor because it runs so hot already. Is this true? Does someone else run IR plugs in their 1.8t? Any help would be great. Thanks

 

i think most people run copper on their cars (1.8t) but they need to be changed more frequently, around 5k miles if i remember correctly. copper plugs run cooler.. iridium and platinum plugs work better for N/A 3.0s
