Hi guys. This is doing my head in lately. When i brake and i am coming to a stop the car jolts forward. It only happens when in automatic mode. If i stick the car in neutral before braking this does not occur.

Has anyone got any ideas why this may be happening. Its really frustrating.

No bang or anything when i brake and no engine check light. 80 000 miles A4 B6 2004.

A few other little things seem to be happening to. Sometimes the auto mode will not shift the gear up when it needs to. It often gets stuck in 2nd and 5th and the only way to move it up is to slide the gear stick into manuel mode and do it that way. Also Cruise Control will stop working, sometimes for a few mins, sometimes for a hour.


Is all this related do you think ?
