Occasionally (not always) I get a notice on my service panel that the left rear fog light bulb needs replacing. I've scoured the forum and I know that there is only one on my 2002 A4 on the left side. I just don't know where it is. If it's in the cluster with all the other rear bulbs (which is a really easy thing to access since I've already replaced a rear brake and regular bulb), which bulb is it? Is it the one closest to the center of the rear bumper? I'm probably just going to ignore the notice...but it's a bummer not being able to see other info (like CD track or radion station/song titles) when the x'd bulb icon stays on. Anyone out there know exactly where this elusive bulb is?

Thanks!

iirc if u face the rear of the car its on the lower portion on the furthest most right bulb in the housing if ur looking at the drivers side bulb. just have someone turn on your on all your lights with hazords on and see which bulb isnt lit. That would be the easiest.

Thanks. Your suggestion makes sense. I'll try it over the weekend.

Fog light bulb

Just get the bulbs holder from the lens and replace any bulb that is burnt out with the correct one and that should solve your problem, obviously check the correct side of the car.
