Hello all,

Im looking to make my cars exhaust a little bit throatier i have the 2003 a4 1.8t, I mentioned in a previous post i was thinking about taking out the resonator but im not sure if its going to acheive the sound I want. The sound im looking to get it is just a nice purr but when i punch it to have it sounds throaty and kinda chug, Iv heard some people around my town with a exhaust on my same car and it sounds sick but iv never gotten to ask them what they did. I dont want it to be loud and muffled just a nice purr when idle and throaty when i punch it, any ideas? would just 2 borla mufflers acheive that?

 

Go on youtube and search audi a4 1.8t exhaust. They have a bunch of videos so you can compare exhausts.
