I've seen the replacement LCDs and repairs for the B5 models, but I've searched and searched, and I cannot find anything definitive on repairing the fading display for my 2003 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro Avant

I'd like to just replace the LCD, but I can't find a replacement anywhere!!! Nor can I find a repair.

I couldn't even find a writeup on how to remove the cluster!! Seen everything possible for the B5 models, however!!!


Also, just started having an issue where my fuel level won't go up to full, even though the tank is full...stays at 3/4
I filled up a tank of gas in San Antonio, and I drove back to Dallas...and it was a 300 mile drive....i parked at home and had a little less than 1/2 tank remaining.....gauge was working great before this trip....seemed like it turned inaccurate while driving lol.....
I've seen issues with the level sender in the gas tank, and some other stuff....just wondering if there is a for sure answer for this....or something about a clogged charcoal canister? can a bad tank of gas cause this?

I messaged someone on EBay, and he said he should be able to fix my problem...he wants a pic of my LCD cluster and the model number on the back of it...
I can't even find a writeup on how to remove the cluster for my car...i see it's simple for the b5, but nothing for the b6

plus, the guy wants $150 for the repair...i'm pretty good with this stuff, so if it's just a plug and play new LCD, I'd rather pay the $45 for a new chinese made replacement and do it myself....

i'm stumped right now....can't find a single replacement LCD or procedure for the B6

 

I have a 2002 A4 B6 and the screen started flickering and finally went all white on me. If I bang my hand on the dash it comes back, so I'm guessing it's a faulty connection.

Does anyone have any information on how to fix this? I can't find solid info for a B6.
