Moisture in the back of my Avant
Hi everyone,
Ive got a 2005 S4 Avant. Thought I would post here as my problem appears to be non S4 specific but more of a question about the B6 4 line.
About a month ago I opened the back of the avant and lifted up the rubber mat that is in place to protect the carpet. It was wet underneath. Over the next few weeks I completely detailed the interior, removed the mat and left the car open as much as possible to let things dry out.
Now yesterday I opened the back of the car and I can see the moisture again. Its like dew - its not dripping from anywhere. Its been raining alot here in California and the car has been outside. But I am only driving it 1-2 days a week. Im just thinking maybe something is not letting the car 'breathe'..i cant believe this much moisture hangs out in the car regularly.
Any ideas where this moisture is coming from? Ive attached a photo - snapped it the other night with my mobile. The white dots you see on the carpet are actually water beads.

Thanks everyone.
