Default My A4 just won't start!

Okay, I live in Chicago and we just experienced crazy storms like every other state in the mid-West. I left my car overnight on the street a few days ago and the car won't give out any heat and the stereo was acting funny for half a day. Then they returned normal a few hours later.

Today my damn engine just won't start. There are rapid clicking sounds underneath the hood when I turned the key and the frequency of the sounds slowed a little bit if I hold the key for too long.

SO WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY CAR? COULD ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEA? Could it be the ignition coil or spark plug? I park my car indoor but it's still pretty wet these days. The battery works fine though.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the battery. These storms here in Chicago were treacherous.

yep... your battery doesn't have enough juice to turn the starter. charge it before trying again, or have the car jumped. if you are jumping it, wait a few minutes for the battery charge to build before trying the starter again. otherwise just get your battery charged or replace it.

Its the battery. I should know, I jump mine every other day. I gotta get mine replaced. When you're about to turn on the car let the battery sit on the on position to wait for the TB to align and gets your abs and esp working up to par.
