edited this shorter. my 2003 a4 FWD , just got it back from the auto shop, guy said my transaxel is bad, it would cost 2800 to fix, i got this car 4 months ago for 5 g's, the first owner had a rebuild trans at 70 thousand miles, the car has 118.111 now. is there anything i can do to avoid paying 2800. I don't get a trans can have such problems so soon, but then again its an 03/a4. any suggestions

 

So what exactly is wrong with the transaxle? i would get a second opinion at a European repair facility.

 

not sure, he just said it was bad , but i will get a second opinion at the audi dealer and mabey at euro cars shop.
