My TCM Was Repaired
Hi
I had bought my FSI which had or developed the dreaded TCM issue at 60k miles.
Lucky I had purchased warranty with the car and it was repaired for £1400 by my warranty company. (Thank God)
Any Way I wish to review my fault codes to make sure everything is ok now.
These are the codes i had previously.
AFTER A NEW (REFURBISHED) TCM
And now using my own OBD2 cable and VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.0
I get the following errors
Could some one enlighten me on the error codes i have left which were read by my self after the fix

I'll take a crack at it, but the euro models are much different than ours. Im going to guess this is a FWD CVT transmission?
The error code after the repair is a simple brake light switch, nothing major really. You need to pull the panel under the dash by the brake pedal, then look straight up in front of the brake pedal. There will be a little switch right in front of the pedal with a small connector on it. Remove the connector and turn the switch counter clockwise and pull it out of its bracket. Installing the new switch is actually the tough part. These switch are literal crap straight from the manufacturer, similiar to the quality of the ignition coils from Bremi. Pull the thimble all the way out before pushing it in, hold the brake pedal towards the driver's seat and attempt to install the switch in a clockwise fashion.
If the brake lights stay on or won't turn off pull the sensor out, pull the thimble out again and keep trying it until its working correctly.
It may even be possible the switch is broken right off the shelf, it wouldn't be the first time i've come across a crap switch thats never been used.

i hope they didnt just clear the code lol
i dont think they did because they are very reputable company that did the TCM exchange. http://www.automaticgearbox.co.uk/
Just wondering why that section still shows up if theres no errors.

Doing a broad scan brings up a log of ALL modules scanned, your log is actually very small. If you did one with a VAS 5052 it can take up to 20 minutes and have a log of 50 modules.
The brake light switch is nothing large to worry about, you may notice that the ABS kicks in at light braking pressures or the cruise control doesn't work. It won't cause any engine/transmission operating issues.
Looking at your scan everything is working fine, with the exception of the brake switch.
