Default Need help!!

Hey everyone, looking for help here. I have an Automatic 03 A4 Quattro 1.8t, 177k.
For the last month or so the car has been making a grinding or metal scraping type noise when driving coming somewhere from the front end/under the hood. Doesn’t happen if in neutral and revving, only when accelerating. Its also been shifting hard and clunky (mainly in 3rd and 4th and if downshifting to 1st) either in D, S or Manual. Makes the whole car jolt and i have no idea where to begin to look and i’m worried the transmission could be going? Ive already replaced the transmission and motor mounts so it isn’t that. Any help would be very appreciated.

... driveshaft or bearing maybe? Find an empty parking lot and drive slowly in a circle clockwise then anticlockwise, if you get the noise in only one direction my money would be driveshaft problem. For a bearing, jack up one wheel and hold the wheel horizontally and try and find movement - and any noise.
