need some advice!

So im planning to go on a 500 mile trip on my 04 audi CVT, and was wondering if theres any chance that the car can just stop and die, maybe the tranny going out on my trip? what do you guys think?

Everything is possible, as long as you don't have any bad jerks and weird issues going on right now I'd say go for it, just be gentle on the way.
