Default Need some help/input. Service code P0411?

Hi all, I got a 2003 A4 about a month ago; took it to the dealer and had them look at the check engine light, I ended up needing to replace a bunch of vacuum hoses and my solenoid valve. I've replaced all of the bad vacuum hoses and replaced the solenoid valve, and in the process of doing so I also put in a K&N air filter. With all of that done, the check engine light went away and haven't had it come back on............until yesterday. I took it and got the codes read at Advance Auto and the code that came up was "P0411 Secondary air injection incorrect flow". I've found that it may be my purge valve from talking to other people, but I'm still not certain. Can anyone give me any input or advise me on what it could be and what I can do to get it "fixed".

Many thanks!

just do a check on ur check valves and vac lines. LIsten for hissing or brittle hoses. Maybe the tech forgot to replace on of the lines and it faulted later. Normal problem with out cars.

Alright! Thanks for the assist! I'm gonna do the hairspray trick too to check for leaks. But just to make sure I'm understanding the other forum post correctly (p0411 solved), could you attempt to explain to me where the combi valve is located at and where the secondary air pump is at? I know where the purge valve is, and where the air box is (obviously lol) but just so that I can try to make sure I've got my bearings straight when I get in there tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Thanks! That will help me solve a bunch of issues! Also, on this link here: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...hlight=in-line
do you think that the valve labeled 1 could be the issue? if not all of the valves?

if u rub it with ur fingers and feel stuff peeling off then its probably in need of being replaced. Those things go bad often.
