Default new car oil problem PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!

Hello to the B6 forum first off, i have owned 4 B5s and made my way up to a B6. It has not been a great start. So it is a 2003 A4 1.8tqm and the first day i had the car after about 40 miles or so the oil light came on. So I had it towed to an audi dealership for them to check for the sludge problem. When i talked to the service adviser and gave him the VIN number he was amazed and said this car has been maintained AMAZINGLY and it would be covered if in fact it had the sludge issue. So they went ahead and took off the valve cover and cam bearing to check for sludge. They told me it was immaculate and they doubt it is the sludge. So what they needed to do was put the proper size oil filter on and replace the oil pressure sensor. So they did that and i got the car back and all was good, now 70 miles and a day later the light came back on. Also i noticed i can kind of smell oil outside the car. Any thoughts? the car is being towed back to the dealership tomorrow. but does anyone know anything about the sludge? Signs of the problem being that?

Ahead of time thanks for your opinions!!

they said there's no sludge. they replaced a sensor and filter that probably didn't need replacing. what is the code for the check engine light? you believe the oil level is fine but you didn't check it. check the level on a level surface. that generic oil light can also mean low level.

I know the oil level is fine. So if under the valve cover has no sludge then there is no way for the pump to be clogged?
