Dude...get a new fuel filter from ECS tuning and replace it yourself. The product code is ES#3550. Then follow this write-up:

It may clear up the problem...and it may not. I'd also check and see if your car has had the fuel pump replaced as there is a recall for the B6:

As far as Pro-Imports in Rockville goes...I would recommend you look elsewhere for service. I was not comfortable with them at all and would not trust them with my car. I would go to New German Performance (two shops in the DC area) or Autoy & Autowerke (in Rockville). They are both great shops and I trust them completely.

additional info please?
I believe I am having the fuel pump issue. Question is...is it ok to drive? for how long? Will it just die completely leaving me stranded? I am on vacation right now and would like to wait until I get home to replace it. Appreciate any help.
