Ok i have a 2002 1.8t now im lookin to upgrade the ecu, i am going to go with the apr stage 1 from ecs and upgraded the DV, now my question is when i install the new ecu does it automatically increase the boost? do u have to do it manually with a boost controller? by what i read its says install and go, the reason i ask this is b/c somone told me you have to manually increase it from the wastegate, im new to audi/turbo cars so im not sure. thnx

 

The software upgrade to the ecu changes the boost. Just install the ecu whrn you get it back and enjoy.
