Default O2 Sensor Replacement Bank 1 After Cat

Hey Guys,

I searched regarding the above subject but could not find a direct topic and DIY.

Pep Boys labor charge only is $124 bux to install. How hard is it to install? Please share your experience.

Thanks guys,
John

Hmmm, I haven't done them on these cars, the auditech that is here says that they're really difficult on the before cat, the after is a bit easier but is still a bit of a pain... Have you even looked at the sensor yet?

I did my test pipe on my B6 which required removing them from the cat and putting them in the test pipe. I did this on my garage with 4 jack stands. It was a pain to remove the cat since the car wasn't high enough. If you have access to a lift you should have no problems with the O2 sensor.

The O2 sensor, bank 1, after cat is only an hour job. I paid PepBoys $124 --labor only-- to replace it.

The check engine light didn't come back on yet.

Hopefully it'll stay off for good.
