Default odorless white clouds coming from exhaust

so today i was backing up out of a driveway with a thick tree blocking my view from the right when a bicyclist ducks right be hind me, i push the clutch down throw it in neutral and stomp the brake, after i did that there was a lot of white odorless smoke coming from both exhaust pipes. i let it sit and idle for about 5 minutes still with white smoke coming from the pipes, then i put it in reverse and slowly backed out and i had a lot of smoke coming out of the back while driving for about 3 miles then it stopped all together, then i went to the gas station to get a back of cigs and left it idling out front with nothing wrong, when i came outside it had started to smoke a little bit just from idling but when i pulled out it went away. does anyone know what this is or has this happened to anyone out there? i just replaced the clutch and im starting to notice that it only smokes after i have it in reverse...i really dont understand. its a 2002 audi a4 1.8T 5spd manual. new clutch and new oil pick up tube.

Have you checked your fluid levels?

yes when i replaced the clutch i did all fluids including bleeding clutch master/slave, brakes, tranny and diff fluid, engine oil, coolant, everything. could it just be excess fuel running into the cat from having the revs drop from around 3500 to 800 with such a sudden stop?

If it's white and odorless, it's probably condensation that hit something hot when you jammed on the brakes. Hey, if you smoke why shouldn't your car. Maybe you should set a better example!
