prep-painted-baked!

yea man i liked how it turned out. i did the valve cover first last week and it looked almost too shiny you know like that fake chrome crap. well when i was taking the injectors out gas got on the valve cover and started stripping it. so when i did the intake i found clear coat that can be baked on to make it chemically resistant, and also turned that too shiny thing to a darker metal look.

update: car back together. coolant gauge still fluctuates like before(coolant gauge needle would move back and forth a little once warmed up), i have changed the thermostat housing and the coolant flange on the back of the engine. so i am not sure if its because there is still air in the system?
here is pics of engine bay with valve cover painted too.
i painted the valve cover the same color as IM and TB but it got a greenish tint to it, kinda like the color, probably happened because of heat and curing process..
