Question Pressure Regulator Valve Leak

I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but there is an all black valve at the back of the engine that is leaking air. I think it's called the Pressure Regulator Valve. Does anyone know if it's supposed to be leaking air, I just don't know. I'm thinking maybe this is behind my extremely high idling problem. (1500 - 2100RPM in park/neutral)

Did replacing this valve fix your problem? Mine is leaking air and I am experiencing similar symptoms and my part is on its way.

some call it a suction jet pump. It's essentially an intense check valve. That will cause a bunch of idle problems
