Default Problems in snow

Hey guys. I have a 02 a4 3.0l tip. Whenever there is considerable snow on the ground, the car seems to jerk for a split second while driving at a constient speed. It only happens when there is a few inches of snow on the road. It doesn't do it in the rain or when it is dry. I don't notice any change in the RPMs (the sudden jerk is to quick to notice any change in RPMs) and I am not changing gears. I think it may be the transmission or maybe the ABS acting funny. Anybody else experience this or know what it may be?

I have had a little bit of a shake when in real heavy snow, but never a jerk to one certain direction-

lol, not a bulldozer. Do the tires all match? I heard quattro is picky with tires being all of the same kind.

I have all new tires. The snow isn't very deep.Theres maybe two inches on the road. It feels as though the throttle cuts out oras if I had a clutch and were to engage the clutch very quiclky and then release, but without RPM change. Its a sudden stoping jerk. and then resumes as normal.

My last A4 did not do this, nor has any other car I've riding in or have driving, reacted this way. I was thinking maybe its the ESP activating the breaks briefly. But it souinds like nobody else has experienced this. I would have taken it in but the snow has melted and the car drives as normal.Oh well.. Thanks
