this is a repeat of but this time its true..
i remeber someone saying that they can hear the stock turbo in the audi b6 1.8turbo nd alot of ppl said you deff can not but today driving home i came to the conclusion that if you drive on 4th gear atleast. about 2750 rpms no music and no cars around you , you can hear the whistling noise and then if you change into 5th gear also around 2750 rpms you can also hear the turbo...pretty cool
its quiet compared to my jetta TDI diesel even though...
get a Big TURBO and you will be blown away with sound and power!
or just a blow off valve but thats ricey and more suited to hondas in my opinion

i deff agree in a way tht bov are like ricey but then again if you think about it it helps out alot because it relieves the pressure build up in the turbo as well as it may help the acceleration in between switching gears...one down side effect i think is that as of right now i love it, its so nice and quiet nd then with the bov its kinda getting louder and such so pfff but idk well see..
Don't mean to break your heart, but BOVs (although could be used) are not designed for our closed loop turboes. Pressure has to be recirculated back in to the system and not the atmosphere.
