sometimes when i start my car it stuggles for a second or two then it will start and makes a grinding/clanking sound if that makes any sense i put new spark plugs and filter in im still lost any help please i cant afford that damn service department

 

do u have a check engine light?
it does it only when on cold starts, right?

 

my check engine light just came on and one of my coil packs is going bad but it randomly wanted to start weird whenever it felt cold starts hot starts

 

That's quite weird, try replacing the pack and hear the car again, maybe you have a loose ground in your system that makes the starter "stutter" when you engage it...
