Default Quattro and Forge Splitter

Hey guys

Quick question. Does anyone have the Forge Splitter Valve installed on their B6 quattro? If so, how did you go about getting to the stock DV to replace it with the splitter? I tried going in through the headlamp assembly (taking that out, obviously), but still found it kind of tricky.

Is my best bet to just go from underneath on a lift or something? I'm a pretty amateur mechanic, so with those clamps that are on the hoses with the stock DV I'm assuming I'm going to have to replace.

Thanks for the help!
