So since my car is down for a little while because I'm waiting on my new cam chain tensioner to come in the mail, I've been concentrating on cleaing up my engine bay. I just got done doing the PCV/SAI/EGR delete and I was blown away at how much crap actually came out and how much cleaner the bay looks. Well, I am looking into getting an RS4 right side engine bay cover. I found one on this website: http://www.europaparts.com/engine-co...e0103927f.html Here's my questions. Would it be alright for me to run a B6 Coolant Tank? It looks like you would have to have one for fitment purposes. Also, simply, will it fit in my bay? It looks like it would if I get the B6 Coolant Tank. Anybody have an experience with this or can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Later and thanks in advance!

I have a B6 engine bay cover somewhere. It wouldn't fit the power steering on mine. It was damn close though.

 

So with a little modding it COULD fit...im not opposed to whipping out the dremel...and for 40 bucks, it seems worth it though.

the link you put up for the cover is for a B7. those engine bays are totally different. the B6 coolant tank will fit fine.
