If I pull it up with the switch depressed it will go up but I can push it down with little to no effort. I pulled the door panel off and the bright green piece(regulator?) that keeps the window on the track has a broken part that is supposed to hold it on the track although this does not seem to be whats causing my problem. The cable within the track moves up and down as it should but I think somehow it isn't adhered to the bracket holding the window.

Like I said, down works, up does not. Any help would be appreciated in diagnosing this issue.

After looking around I'm pretty sure it is the internals of the regulator that hold the cable. As pictured below.

 

I had the same problem with mine, what i did is that i glue the green piece with the cable and i put 2 tiewraps right in the middle in a form of X. Since than i have had no more problems.
