I have a a 2004 A4 Ultra Sport that I just noticed the reverse lights do not come on when the car is put into reverse. Its a 6 speed and I just purchased it used. Its in great shape and the lights should work.

I checked the fuse and its fine, I am going to check the bulbs but the fact that they are both burnt out makes me think its something more than the bulbs.

Any ideas what could be wrong? The clutch was replaced not to long ago by the previous owner....
