ribbed belt change 1.8t 2003 A4
Anybody done one of these before? I was checking the service manual and the tool they use is a T10060 Mandrel (locks the belt tensioner in place) Looks straight forward enough, any tips or tricks?
well, try www.audizine.com for most of your technical questions..
you will probably have to take off the end cap to do it and you might as well just do the timing belt when u do it.... www.purems.com has a kit for timing belt, water pump and serpentine belt... check audizine and audiworld for some DIYs and make sure you have a t45 !

well the ribbed belt change looks way easy compared to the timing belt and the timing belt doesn't require changing until 105k. Thanks for the heads up on that site!
