So I just installed my new stereo and ever since that day I randomly get the "Right headlight Dipped" message. I look and the right low beam light is out. All high beams, fog lights, and left low work fine. I don't know if it has to do with stereo being installed, I was never near the lights or any wires for the lights that I know of. To remedy the situation I open the hood and tap the top of the light casing with my fist just enough and the light turns on...then goes a couple days until I get the message again. Very weird. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like a loose connection.

 

this can also happen when the light is getting ready to go out

 

Happened to me with my turn signal bulb. Bout ready to die on you. Might as well replace the bulb.
