Default Right Turn Signal Problem

I have a 2003 A4 3.0 Quattro and the right turn signal blinks fine (three times) if I tap on it but if I lock it in it first blinks left (twice) and then blinks to the right. This only happens
when I activate the right turn signal.

Please let me know how this can be fixed.

Thanks,
Arjun

The guy that had that problem posted on Audizine too. His stalk was the problem.

Default I'm having same issue on 2004 A4 Quattro

but it has gotten worse. It now continues to signal left instead of right. Still looking for solution.

Mine is having the same problem. It doesn't happen all the time and when I took it to the dealer (under warranty) it magically did not happen. I am living with its intermittent happenings. Let me know if it has been resolved.

Default Replaced turn signal switch

I had bought the car used off of a dealer lot. The turn signal started acting up right after I got it, but I was slow to take the car back to the dealer because it was so intermittant. We compromised on me paying for the part and they installed it for free. It was part number 8E0-953-513-4PK and cost $150. They told me the labor would have also been around $150. Appears to have fixed the problem.

^^^Thats a turn signal stalk if i remember that part number, price it right too.
However B6 A4's have several problems with the turn signals, i beleive i noted it in the sticky i made, not sure.
If the turn signal stalk isn't working and you tap on the fender and it starts working, chances are its the socket the bulb sits in.
If its intermittent, then its the turn signal/hazard relay, if that doesn't fix the issue then replace the turn signal stalk which has a tendency to short out the relay.
