Sport Package Question
Hey guys.
I'm looking to buy a b6 3.0 Quattro 6-Speed and have a few questions.
I've searched the forum but have not been able to find the answers I'm looking for.
What is a definitive way to tell if the car you're looking at has the sport package besides for driving it? I know the ultrasport has different wheels and that the sport has 17" wheels, but besides for these differences what else will tell you that it's not a non-sport car?
Second question... Are there any major differences between a 2003-2004? I thought they added 6 speed in 2004, but I think I've seen some 2003's with 6 speed. Any other major changes?
Thanks for your help.

I'm relatively new at this, but someone was nice enough to shoot me this link and I found it incredibly helpful:

If you can snap a pic of the data tag in the trunk (down by the spare tire) and punch it in, you'll learn everything you'd want to know about a car. My car has E0A as the first code down in the bottom part which specifies "No special edition". Perhaps someone can help you with what code to look for.
Then again, maybe there's a much easier method to find what you're looking for (spring color codes, etc).
Good luck!

The B6 Sport package offers a much lower ride height, you can visually see this difference. it also has Sachs red shocks. I believe that 2002 offers the lowest ride height for the B6 models. The Sports package also has larger stabilizer bars F/R.
Second, all B6 models with a 3.0L engine could have been purchased with a 6 Speed. I personally own a 02 3.0L 6 speed.
Differences in 2003 vs 2004, Many people feel that the 04 model is more reliable because Audi corrected many of the porblems that plagued the earlier models. I also feel this perception increases the pricing gap between an 04 vs 03 (04 will substantially cost more to buy). Besides this subjective comment, there were very few changes in 2004, most of them were relative to the S4 coming back and the Cab options. A 2003 3.0L 6 Speed A4 is the same as an 2004.
