Strange pipe inside front inner wing

Strange pipe inside front inner wing
Hi,
Can anyone tell me for what is that pipe inside of front inner wing on right side, it's look like that is connected with air box from other side in engine bay.
The car is Audi A4 Avant 2004 year, engine 1.9 tdi AVF code, manual gear.
Is there some maintenence for that pipe? What is use of it?
