Question Striping weight off!

I've got a 2002 3.0 quattro.

Any ideas on how to save weight without spending money or adversely affecting comfort?

Removing crap from the car, replacing spare wheel with putty, not carrying passengers, but anything else anyone has done or thought of?

I don't think you can really take much weight off the car without doing anything drastic (removing seats, etc.) and even with that it isn't going to be a huge difference. You just kinda have to deal with the fact that you have a heavy a$$ car.

I know, I know she's a heavy a$$ car...

But I'm having the "a man who moves a mountain starts by moving small stones" mentality. You know, like it'll all add up at the end of the day.

Is there much avaliability of lightweight parts for the A4 then?
